Aside from being sharp and accurate in our every day life I must say how we dress is one of the first key essentials to look more impressive and to know your body type is one important step toward looking great in any occasion , here ill help you to find your perfect piece of clothing to accentuate your favourite body part and to hide the areas that you are not entirely confident about!
I hope it can help you guys and remember the most important key to look great is to feel great and to be confident!
 Lets begin:

1) Petite figure :(162 cm or less in height, small frame )
Usually ladies with the smaller body shape are desiring to have an extra structure and volume to flatter their body.
choose A-line skirts or pleated ones
You can also try pencil skirts with higher  waist lines which would elongate your legs as well as grabbing around your hip bones and accentuating more of your body curves! Keep in mind to avoid matt darker colours since it has shrinkage effect. use lighter colours or patterned ones.

2) Curvy figure ( Round hips and breasts , usually short in height )
Don't cover your curves, accentuate what you'v got. flare or A-lined skirts would do fantastic. Make sure its slightly above the knees so you would appear taller and your hips would look more flattered.
Avoid horizontal patterned ones which will make you look wider, instead go for darker colours.
Avoid tight skirts and clingy fabrics which just would make you bigger!
Don't go for big, thick belts on your waist it only makes your waist appear bigger.

3) Hourglass figure (balanced on top and buttom, Defined waistline )
They call this body shape an Ideal,I guess thats why the corsets got invented in early1800!
So you can try anything you like but if you would like to accentuate your best assets you could use tiny belts on a pencil skirt with a high waist line. They would look absolutely gorgeous on this body type, showing all the curves in all the right places. flared skirts would look feminine and beautiful as well. You can put on the same colour of shoes if you want to give an illusion of longer legs.

4)Athletic figure  ( sporty and masculine body)
Look for skirts which has lots of soft feminine features, Try an A-line and or tulip shaped skirts which would show off your toned thighs, and cover the larger area of thighs.
You could use a belt around your waist to give your waist line softer smaller look.
Don't forget to use gorgeous accessories like a nice clutch and a pair of beautiful high hills. keep it simple.

5) Apple shape : ( beautiful legs and round waistline )
In this case you should find a skirt to make the midsection appear smaller and draw the attention to your legs or other beautiful features of your body! keep in mind the wider the hemline the smaller the midsection would look.
A skirt with full silhouette would do perfectly, skirts with the waist line till the natural waist line will  make the stomach look smaller.
Keep the waistline nice and simple, you don't wanna draw eyes to that area!
You can use nice accessories such as hand bags to draw attention to or great high heels to elongate the legs.
Avoid short skirts they only make you look bulky. and please say no to tight skirts!

6) Triangle figure: ( small hips ,big top )
You need to make a balance between upper and lower body.
Wear bright skirts and patterned ones, you want to make a proportion between top and bottom. try skirts with ruffles around the hip area, so it would give illusion of bigger hips. horizontal lines on the skirt would help as well.
But avoid fitted pencil skirts or belts since they would distinct your upper and lower body more. full or A-line skirts would look perfect on this body type.

7) Pear figure ( big hips , small top )
You need to draw the eyes on the upper part of your body ,  and take the attention away from the big hips.
Don't accentuate the lower body by tight skirts. use loose fitting skirts.
A-line skirts are again the survivors , they look perfect with a pair of ballerina shoes or any type of high hills which would elongate the legs and draw the attention to your legs and eventually flatter your hip area.

8) Rectangular figure : (  straight  low defined waistline  )

You need to create curves in all the right places. Tulip skirts would look lovely on you and of course you can try tight skirts and bandage skirts which would emphasis your hips and butt.
Knee hight pencil skirts would be great too especially if you tuck in your shirt to create more balanced curves on top as well as the bottom.  Try flap or embellished pocket skirts which would give you some more volume and definition along with darker coloured belt on your waist which would give you a nicer waist line.
Avoid skirts with big puffs they can give you an out of proportion look,
In case you are wearing maxi and you are tall, make sure that the skirt is long enough.
