Doors to Happiness

                                            




Happiness is the meaning and purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. Aristotle once said!
Every one in their lives are seeking happiness for years and years, and yet so many of us thinking that what is the secret to happiness!!
Some people see happiness in having more money, or having a better job and some see it in looking more beautiful or having a stress free life!
I totally get it, cause I have been thinking about this for quite a while now! I have been asking myself what makes you happy.. And I said I want to do and to have this and that!! but then again there are more things to come by the time I get them and after that some more wants and needs and this and thats!!
So I started looking closely around me, to the people who were actually happy and I observed them and talked to them! You know the funny thing was that I realised they are not necessarily rich or beautiful or perfect people!

They are just grateful for what they have, they enjoy the time that they've got to live and breath! They are looking forward for the better days and not the worst. They don't take their loved ones, friends or family for granted..and so many other things that I will list it down below!

Of course there are some specific inevitable times, some days we are down or somethings are not going just the way we want and thats ok!
We are human , we can't be perfect all the time! life has its ups and downs!
The only thing we can do is not letting it to drag us down and stop us from doing what we were going to do to get through those hard times!
So here are some habits of those happy people ! Hope this list can make you happy or maybe happier!! It definitely worked for me ;)

1.They are grateful for what they have, they appreciate each other and not only things! and by being grateful I mean the smallest things.. like a warm hug or a kind note showing their gratitude, a flower, a genuine smile or a better tip to the person who is waiting their table.

2.They have a goal, having a purpose in life is one of the keys to the happiness gate!They tie this goal not to people or not to things they just commit to that goal and pursue it, no matter how long it takes!

3.They live at present , not past and not future! they make plans for their future and learn from their past.no over thinking and no over analysing!They simply enjoy the moment!

4.They have strong meaningful relationships, it doesn't have to be now! but you can work on it . built the trust and love and loyalty and it all will eventually come together.

5. Exercise is one really important thing, It could be hard to get up every morning and go for a run or work with all those weights at the gym but not only it keeps you in shape physically but also it increases your mental and emotional energy and thus a happier more accomplished new you!

6.They face their fears and problems, they don't run away from them, no matter how hard they are, they find it sort it and if not simply leave it!

7.They don't try to control something which is out of their control, they know that sometimes thing can be inevitable !

8.Meditation is other favorite activity of mine which bring so much peace and energy to you, It doesn't necessarily have to be Meditation, It can be practice of praying. An act of letting go of yourself and getting connected to your soul, relaxing your mind and becoming familiar to your true self.

9.They are positive , rather optimistic people and content with what they have.

10.They help others who are in need, they are compassionate people who shelter and distress the ones in need, with no expectations!
Researches indicates that the people who help others experience less depression, better health and less stress.After all it remind you that you are needed and effective, and that you are lucky enough to be helping someone else!
